Hey Ashley, I used to be young once, back in '62. Started smokin bout the same time, too. Stay off the tobacco kid. Look what happened to me. Went from a cute little chimp to a haggard old ape. Personally, I am not yet ready to jump into the "Behind the Berm" section yet. Sometimes I go off my meds for awhile. Afraid I wont be able to carry on a civilized conversation with anyone but Bob M. and JB. ,....maybe Innocent Mary. They understand me some. If someone said something to set me off, I'd have another 'Nam flashback. Would pull out my AR-15 and turn my Dell into a smoking pile of plastic and silicon chips.
Anyway, be patient kiddo. You'll be 18 before you know it. Are you a sillhouette shooter, too? I started when I was young. Made it to AAA, then got drafted. I demonstrated my shooting skills to the C.O., got put in with a sniper squad. Ever hear of Carlos Hathcock?...me and him did a few "jobs" together. Nevermind.
You can get cheap rifle paint at Wal Mart, .99 cents a can. Any color you want. But I think you have to be 18 to buy spray paint, too.
Keep in touch "little buddy"

McAlice,
Glad to see Rambo is still alive and kicking... and not is some zoo somewhere. I'm sure I'll see you in Sept...flying in late after Mid South Classic, have to be in your neck of the woods at 7am on Monday. Guess Applejacks will be a Monday night trip, unless I can talk the Italian Stallion into going over during the weekend, for me.
Ashely, do not fret the BTB, it is a bunch of old farts trying to relive their mispent youth, enjoy your youth and make it as crazy as you can now, so you can be a great silhouette shooter now and a good BSer later when the body will not fully cooperate.

Read Lanny Basshams With Winning in Mind... plan it, don't hope for it. You can do it, you know you can do it and keep that thought in mind.

Congrats on the 15-in-a-row! Sure is nice to see you younger folks in here. I got called "kid" at our club's annual meeting tonight and I'm very often the youngest shooter in our silhouette matches. I'll be 35 on the 1st of July.

You young guys - don't be like me. Started shooting at 12. Competed for a while. stopped at 15 and then came back at 56.
All the opportunities I lost in a great sport
