my pics of the scoreboard did not come out. I needed to zoom in more. I can't read the names. It bummed me out when I went to look at the results. It was Neihouse and EVILIO who had nice cameras there, not Jason. I brain dumped. Not enough sleep.....not any sleep after driving thru last night. I had intended on a rundown.........great intensions

That is because Steiger won the Golden Cow Patty Award and also was a leading candidate in the Dumbass Award!

Hey Pat I can't imagine why you are so tired, you only had to move your tent twice. Guess you haven't figured out how to plan, execute and enjoy a good prank fast enough, to a) not get caught in the act, b) get it done quickly, and c) sit back and enjoy watching the results.

Marvin,
Having been involved in running the stats for the air gun on Thursday, Friday for the last few years, with some very great assistance from Carol (Pink 22), Jose Rodriguez, Jim Wilcox, Limey, and numerous other 'instant' volunteers, I can only imagine how Robin, Robert and their crew feels, with over three times the number of participants in the smallbore part. I'm sure the results will get up soon.

David,

Thank you for everything. I had a lot of fun. I really appreciate you making the "boyfriend" part of the team. I'm sure he'll live to regret it. I think we should give him a pair of pants that fit next year! I especially like the dance n' rant Debbie did on your stoagie. Was that a 2 step? or a 12 step program?

My daughter and the boyfriend loaded the "award" after I purposely left it behind. Looks like my team is now your team. I am proud of their shooting, and I am especially proud of the way Kolby came back and kicked butt Sunday. Coats' 36 was a thing of beauty as well.

I did notice that some people, when giving me a hard time, did so out in the open, to my face if you will, whilst the cowards waited until it was dark and had a little liquid courage. Woe be to those who slink in the shadows, because I live in the dark. I spent many hours watching people who had no idea I was there, until it was too late.

I had taken pics of the boards so I could make a quick list of the results, but I failed miserably. I thought I reduced the file size too much, but when I downloaded the pics in my big computer, I realized it was me. Again. The airgun results came out fine. All the usual names, Finley, Dadion, Motl, Giunta Jr. Engle.........

The tent wasn't that big of a deal. I truly expected it in a tree or on the roof on Saturday morning, but I suppose the WGC wouldn't like the liability exposure with such a prank.....a dozen well lubricated, well wishers climbing up on the roof at night......not good. Mary, how'd you get that concussion?

Thank Jerry, Robin and Debbie again for me.

So there is not anyone that attened the biggest match of the year who can say who won and who came in 2nd or 3rd ? How weird is that ?

I'm going to bet Cathy Winstead won everything

Pat,
I had nothing to do with the tent moving, wasn't even in the vicinity, but I do know who was involved, only because I can hear.
Now some of the other wee hours of the morning pranks I might know about only because I was the designated driver for the medications when things started getting crazy, like allergic reactions to mud bugs.

Marvin,

As for Cathy winning everything...there are so many prizes at the Southern Nationals that she would not be able to carry it all home, I know that I spotted a 36 for Coates on Saturday morning and a 38 for Jerry Tureau on Saturday afternoon, and they both won their classes then....I think we need to start percentage of the winnings for the spotters, but then El Puma will sneak in because he was the one that called in the drugs to make Tureau well enough to shoot after looking like death warmed over upon arrival.
Kolby Rassmussen, Elisabeth Steiger, Kevin Lawton, Stephen Guinta Jr, Joel Huddleston and Coates Watkins did a good split of the junior prizes each doing well in the various matches. I might add that there were anumber of other junior/sub-junior shooters that are in the wings behind that crew climbing fast.

Cathy won Master, Motl was second at least in std. Coates got AAA in Std gun, as far as remembering the rest it is all a blur. I remember Kolby shot 33, 35 in Hunter, but Dadion and Motl did better and shot off. Pharr shot a couple of 35' s I think in hunter. Had to use his kid's left handed gun for the shootoff.....but as to an accurate, factual recounting of just the results? Ask Neihouse or Evelio, they had the camera's.

Marv,

I will post all the class winners in each rifle sometime today when I get the time. Cathy did win both Louisiana State titles.

The rest of them I am not sure of until I get the results posted.

Two of the most important results are:

Pat lost to Elizabeth on all counts.

I outscored my wife for the first time this year.

That is all that matters.

Wrong there Toby. I beat her in Springer, and tied her with the Target gun. So she didn't beat me in EVERYTHING. :D More importantly I won the bet. Her and boyfriend, versus my score doubled. I was really worried as the boyfriend was smokin. He shot a 24 and a 26 in Hunter in only his 3rd match. Next year I'm gonna have really up my game or suffer humiliation........more humiliation.

Paul, in fairness you may have to spot BoyFriend another point: He had a fifteen in a row going until a a spotters' phone rang and blew his concentration. Even at that he went on and got the rest of the animals for a 14/15 for a great recovery.
