Photos of Rams taking a dive

Folks:

Here is a link to some photos of rams being hit and going down, taken at the Sunnyvale Rod & Gun club range last month.

Taken with a Nikon D3 digital camera, with NIKKOR 80-400 lens.

It only works at 100 meters, I lined up on the ram, and then held down the shutter button when I heard the shot. I think it takes about half a second for the bullet to make its way down range, and that was usualy enough time for me to catch the target falling. Here is the link:

I like that shoulder hit series. You can see the impact spot. :)

Check the dust from bullet splatter in photo 2 of the shoulder hit. And both feet right up off the rail. Was this hi-vel ammo? Pretty neat.

Anybody notice the enclosed firing line pictured here at Sunnyvale? It must be nice to not have the wind blowing you onto the next target. That and enjoying comfortable temps. to shoot in all year round must be like heaven. All you need are self resetting targets and you won't even get wet in the rain. OOPS, I forgot it' CA. I wonder what Greg would say if he saw those photos of the firing line.

People were being nice - at least until this blatant troll for compliments.

Would you rather hear "Wow, only $5,000 worth of equipment and the pictures were almost in focus"

Two lefties in one picture? Nice shot!

My only complaint with the pictures is that you used a d@#$d Nikon!!!

Everyone knows a CANON is more appropriate for ballistics photography!!!

Hey...I'll be here all night....I got a million of 'em!!!
