just bought the cz452 silhouette like most people reccomended. they also said to get the eric brooks trigger kit. where can I find one of these?

You might consider the AS Sear as well. Install it once and your done. Adjusts with a single allen screw, and the factory trigger adjustment nut. Very crisp and mine would work safely down to 10 ounces.

Good choice to start out with. I bought the CZ452 Sil with the black stock about 2 years ago to use as a backup and to shoot our indoor 50ft matches. Great gun out of the box. I liked the way the Sil stock fit compared to the American but that's a personal choice.
The Brooks trigger kit is easy to install but plan to wait awhile to get it. Some guys get them right after they order but I waited 4 weeks plus many emails. Good Luck

Glocker where do I get the as sear?

Rifle Basix also has a replacement trigger, available through Brownell's, and Timney has a trigger available from their website that I personally love, but it may require gunsmith fitting for the safety to work.

No gusmith needed, just follow the instructions on Chicken George's site and it can be done by anyone with a little patience a wood file and drill bit (with a small drill press is best).

it isn't just the inletting; the firing pin may need a little filing too.

We've done 4 of them with no such problems. You must have gotten the Remington conversion

Great! How recent were these? Mine was one of the first to come out, and Timney may have made some design changes since then.

NO>>>NO>>>NO!!!! Do NOT waste your time or your money ordering anything from Eric Brooks. I ordered a set of rings from him over 4 months ago. Repeated e-mails have gone unanswered. He took my money but I've yet to see a set of rings. I would recommend that you buy from anyone but Eric Brooks!!!

It's the newer design Bob. Still have to be careful inleting the rear portion making sure of your clearance's but that is it.

I may have pick up the next deal I see on a CZ 452, particularly if it's a Varmint!

I had the same problem as Irish with the Brooks kit. Many E-mails--no reply. Finally took several phone calls to get a person to leave a message. Took over 2 months to get the kit. Would take a different route if I had to do over. My understanding is that he is very busy and makes these on the side. Quality is excellent but may be tough to get.....
