ok, i have been shooting silhouette at local matches for a year now and want to know what i need to do to get classified so that i can shoot at other places. Also, does anyone know if you can shoot the monthly matches at ridgeway without being classified, because I am not far away. Thanks, and sorry if this question was already on here a million times. I already have a rifle and everything so all i need to know is how to get classified and go from there.

Go to a match that is NRA sanctioned, buy a book and shoot a match. Your score classifies you then.

Like sorbiker said you must shoot in an NRA approved or sanctioned match requiring an NRA score book to get classified. Your score in the first such match will be entered in your score book along with an initial classification, which will then be used in future matches.
