"Retro" bling

Just bought an oldie but goodie; 541T. Use to see plenty of these on the firing line in years gone by.
Got it used fairly cheap in a "wonkous" looking 540x stock. Bought a un-finished 541-T stock from Gun Parts Co. for $40 delivered. Then a bit of sanding, add recoil pad, finish and some checkering (or wood hacking may be more accurate term) now a nice little "retro" rig.
Always wanted a 541 and this one is a "2 screw model". Shoots well at 100m (as well as I shoot!). My point is if you have a homely 581 get one of these stocks and "put some lipstick on that pig". Well worth the $40 asking price.
