In my opinion the 39’s made fro 1945 to 1955 are the best years made. The 1953 would be a great gun for SB Lever Gun. I have two 1946’s and really like them.

Point of reference. There's a 39A from 1946 in the classifieds right now for $575. It has upgraded sights. You might also check rimfirecentral.

Those 39a are awful awful guns. You should sell it to me ASAP.
