Its getting that time of year to dust off the old lever gun and get some ammo loaded up. Matches will be on the second Saturday of the month. Starting April 13th, May 11th, June 8th, July 13th, August 10th, September 14th and ending October 12th. Start times will be the same . Practice at 1000 or as soon as range is setup with match starting at 1100.
There has been a change involving score books. The NRA is going to electronic record keeping. You will need to bring your 2018 book to the matches until you receive your card from NRA. To help this go smoother please do the following to help Joan. Make sure the front of your book is filled out completely were it is readable. At the top of each page for each rifle class make sure your full name is written in on the upper right hand corner for each page used. If possible make a copy of each page and bring it with your book to the first match.
Hope to see everyone there. Last year was a great season but we need more young shooters. If you have someone bring them with you and let them give it a try.

Maybe a Georgia State Championship on the horizon?

Joan wants to get one more year under her belt being new to being a match director. Next year could be a better year. I am pushing but let's see what happens.

Just wanted to remind everyone that we are only 3 weeks away from our first match with a surprise. What surprise you ask ? Well Joan has agreed to allow small bore hunters pistol and hunters pistol to our matches. It will be shot at the same time as the lever gun match. All NRA rules will apply.
This will be a trial match to see if it works and how many people we get. All goes well and it will become a approved match. So break out those pistols and come on out.
