54MS barrel extension

I am looking to put a barrel extension ( bloob tube ) on my 54MS to more evenly distribute the weight of the rifle. I have become used to shooting my HP rifles with 26" barrels and my short barreled Anschutz now feels like I am holding a rock. Do any of the metal men out there have anything to offer. I saw several guns with them on at Raton, but did not think about this for my gun till the long journey home to Pa. Al Foust

Al,

I had Tim at www.custombrakz.com make me a custom barrel weight/muzzle break/bloop tube for my air rifle and it's great. Excellent fit and finish.

Sincerely,

Mike Sporer

I have an Anchutz bloop tube and weights and would sell it to you if you want it. Make me an offer I can't refuse.

Jerry, Does your tube thread onto the end of the barrel? If so I can't use it, as mine has no threads. I have an older 54 with the short fat barrel.

Try Bobby Pitchford! He has made be some adaptors that were amazing in fit / finish. He made bloop tubes for years at Briley before he opened his own shop. Prices are more than reasonable.

Pitchford Custom Rifles

His number escapes me, but I know many here have it handy...

Al, I had gotten mine for my 54's from Medesha Firearms
http://www.medeshafirearms.com/Extension%20Tubes.htm

Since I converted my 54 I don't use mine anymore.
