I"ve have a 82 Marlin 336 .30-30,that the rifling in it is full of pits. The rules as I understand them say you can reline the barrel. It shoots 170 gr Hornady great, but noting else is less than 4-5 inches at 100 yds. I want to shoot lead in it,and it leads terrible. I am thinking of putting in one of TJs liners . Was wondering if this is allowed as the present barrel is Micro-Groove. Thanks binski

You can reline it. For a little more money you can buy a Winchester 94
