Does anyone still put larger dots in weaver scopes? I see T K Lee no longer accepts them because of health reasons.

I haven't used them, but I need to send in my T24 for a larger dot myself. . .
Optical Services Company - founded by Bill Ackerman - has a website and say they are still doing it.

I'll second the recommendation of Optical Sercives. Bills daughter Sheryl is running the company now, and she is great to deal with. I sent her a Leupold scope that Leupold would not work on and she did everything I needed done.

Just received my weaver T-24 back from Optical Services this week. Had the factory 1/8 replaced with a 1/2. While I haven't installed on my rifle yet, I think I can see a significant improvement in ease of picking up the dot and am looking forward to sighting in this weekend and shooting a match in a couple of weeks

This is good info. My question is manufacture warranty? My new Leopold FX-3 has 1/2 min dot, which is a huge improvement vs my old Sightron 6-24X42 SIL. If they made in 3/4 min dot, I would have gone for that. Down the road, I might need a 3/4 min dot.

I will check with both if could change to 3/4 min, just to have the info. Thank you for this current info thread/topic
