I talked with another shooter who was up at Ridgway last weekend. He spoke with "Tom", who told him there would be NO lever gun match over Labor Day weekend this year. Disappointing! they are having four monthly matches only.

Yes, I've seen the Ridgway schedule and the problem seems to be a conflict with the long range benchrest matches. Those matches are pretty much the club's flagship event these days and they always shoot the first Sunday of the month. Since the club doesn't like to have events on the two adjacent ranges simultaneously for safety reasons, the CLA got squeezed out for that weekend. There is still a monthly match on the 3rd however.

Anyone wanting to travel to PA for a big CLA shoot need not despair though. There's still the "Spring Roundup" match in Montoursville and the July 4th regional in Bradford with a likely state championship there at the end of July. CLA is alive and well in Pennsylvania.
