Wondering what others in this crazy game use for weapons.
I have a Sako Finnfire, pillar bedded in the heavy barrel stock.
The barrel is a Lilja and the trigger is a Jewel set to 2 oz.
The rifle is topped with a 12 X Redfield Metallic Silhouette that is probably 15 years old. My ammo is Lupua Master M .
Still working on breaking out of A class.
So what else is out there????????????

As far as equipment goes if it is a 22lr you will see it at a match, I know that over the last 27 years there have been a lot of different guns on the line. You will of course see a high percentage of Anschutz on the line, but you will see Remington, Sako, Ruger, Cooper, and most anything else. My self I have a Anschutz 54-18 MRS for standard rifle and a 1712 for hunter. Both are in custom stock. I have a Sako standard rifle myself, it is a great gun. I have included a couple of picture so you can see whats out there.

I moved from a Anschutz 1712 to a custom build as others..

54.18 Receiver
Lija 25" barrel
Pharr stock
Leupold 18-40x40 Premier reticles scope
Briley triger shoe
BKL mounts

Sexy part of the rig is on the right side of the barrel infront of the receiver it says "Chicken" ... Well that and how it shoots...LOL

You want to get out of "A" class...get an air rifle... In just over 13 months in one class I went from A to AAA, not shooting AAA every match yet, but have made the class.

Right now I'm shooting a 1710KL in a McMillian stock topped with a Premier reticle "bumped" 6.5X20 Leupold in hunter and a 54:18 in a thumbhole stock with an 1808 "bloop tube" barrel topped with the same scope in standard rifle. May make some changes and go with one gun for both in the upcoming season. Ammo is SK Jagd standard plus, shoots well in both guns.

Hey, I think Dawg left off "Bud Select and Glen LIvet" from his equipment list.....

+1 on the Bud Select....

PS> Dawg> The Camper is set up on a river side camper spot with all utilities on-site. Looooooow monthly $ for rent. All you would have to put up with is me hunting on the weekends.....

Do you still have your 54.18? Did you install the bloop tube yourself? Which tube is it? I have the same rifle and I ordered a champions choice tube, but I am having trouble with the installation.

thanks.

I don't take my weapons to a silhouette match. I take a pair of Anschutz target rifles.

My check list is short and sweet;

Guns?
Equipment box?
Cold weather clothes?

I'm ready to go.
