21Step,

It should go without saying, that the defending champion would be there. You set the bar pretty high last year.

I would like to say how much fun it was to attend Al's match! The NH contingent sits in a Red Roof Inn half way home and the memories of a great shooting weekend are solidifying. We are trying to think about how to have an equally fun match in NH. But there is really nothing that compares to the set up at Consolidated Sportsmen where they can host 5 banks of 100m and 2 bank of 200m at the same club. Very nice event, very nice people and some EXCELLENT shooters.

Thanks to all the gracious PA shooters who made out-of-towners feel at home. Sorry we brought NH temps to PA.

JB&JD,thanks for showing up.You are now in the family of (Traveling Round). Those who spare no expense or time to travel to distant places that shoot silhouette.
You guys shot very well and represented your area with good conduct and sportsmanship. This range may have been a challenge as to meters vs yards, but you adapted and overcame.I bet the shoot offs were exciting and fun also.
From all of us.We are glad you attended.

Jud,

Thanks for your kind words. However I would like to to state that this was not my match. Al Foust is no more than a mouth with a microphone that is fortunate to have a very dedicated group of volunteers who work there tails off to put on these matches.
We have gotten a lot of compliments on the match, and it was a real pleasure to host such a great group of shooters. The level of competition was high and there were a number of shoot offs.
