2015 Canadian National Rifle Silhouette Championships
Hosted by the Prince George Rod and Gun Club
Small bore: July 5, 6, 7 High Power: July 9, 10, 11
The 2015 Canadian Rifle Silhouette Championships will be held at the Prince George Rod and Gun Club in the Province of British Columbia. The ranges are located west of the city of Prince George. Small bore will be shot at our Hartman Range located at 9444 Hartman Road. High Power will be shot at our Black Water range located 30 km from the Hartman range. Both ranges are accessible from highway 16.

Rules-Classification
Current NRA Metallic Silhouette Rifle rules will apply. Unclassified competitors will compete in the highest available class. Classification books must be presented when registering at the range.
Competition-Eligibility
Canadian residents must have current SRAC membership. Non-residents must be members of their respective national bodies. US residents must have either a SRAC membership or proof of NRA membership. Competitors must furnish copies of their membership cards when submitting entry. SRAC memberships will be available at the range.
Special Squadding Requests
Requests for special squadding of competitors sharing equipment or coaching will be accommodated where possible on a first come, first served basis provided such requests are made in writing at the time of entry. It will not be possible to consider special squadding requests for late entries.
Certification of Firearms
All rifles must be certified prior to their use in the tournament. Rifle certification begins July 4 for Small bore and July 8 for High Power. Please do not certify High Power rifles before the Small bore matches. Equipment and apparel may be inspected at random by Match Officials during the matches.
Tie Breaking
Following the completion of each days matches, ties will be broken using a single shot knockout format with the exception of National Champion which will be broken using a five shot string.

Small bore and High Power Awards Schedule
Presentation of match awards will follow the completion of the day matches. Aggregate awards will be presented following the presentation of the match awards on the final day of each competition. If there are less than three shooters per class, shooter will be moved up to the next higher class, or compete for the Match Winner Award (NRA rule 19.

Canadian Rifle Silhouette Championship Awards
Small bore and High Power Rifle Silhouette Championships will be the aggregate of the three matches for each class. National Champion, National Resident Champion, National Class Champions, National Senior Champion, National Lady Champion and National Junior Champion

Pin awards
Small bore: 10 in a row pins will be awarded to all classes, 5 in a row pins to "AA", "A" and "B" classes High Power: 5 and 10 in a row pins will be awarded to all classes
Safety
All rules for safety will be strictly enforced. Failure to conform will be a basis for disqualification.
1. Rifle actions will be open at all times except on the firing line after the "ready" command is given. At the command "cease fire" all firearm actions will be opened IMMEDIATELY. Open chamber indicators that insert directly into the chamber are mandatory. 2. "Dry Firing" or aiming firearms behind the firing line is prohibited. Firing line commands must be observed by users of the designated dry firing area. 3. When not on the firing line firearms will be placed on racks, in cases or other safe places. 4. A shot fired before the "Ready" command will result in disqualification for the day's match. 5. The Match Director or Range Officer has the authority to ban any competitor, firearm or ammunition at any time for reasons of safety. 6. Consumption of any alcoholic beverage, narcotic or controlled substance which can impair the normal mental or physical functions of the body, on the range or in the spectator or public areas immediately adjacent to the range while the range is in use is prohibited. Disorderly conduct or intoxication is not permitted on the range or any contiguous range property. Violators of this regulation will be subject to immediate disqualification from these Championships with no return of entry fees.
SRAC Annual General Meeting and Elections
The SRAC AGM will be held the evening of July 5 following the presentation of the awards. The meeting time will be posted at the range.

A junior is defined as someone who has not reached their 21st birthday prior to December 31, 2015.
Advance registration is recommended as tournament entries are limited. Make cheques payable to The Prince George Rod and Gun Club. If you are unable to attend after registering. Please notify the Match Director no later than June 19. After that a $10 fee will be deducted from your entry refund.
