<sigh> Either son that wants to compete can have my Anschutz right now, and whatever ammunition they want, as much as they want, but no takers. Paul, I'll assume you're bragging because I sure would!

Troy, I have used them both... Unfortunately for me my rifles love them both, with the Eley Ulitimate EPS winning out ever so slightly.
It's like Kitty mentions, it's the consistancy you are looking for. You have to shoot a lot of sample lots, I usually get 100 rounds of each that I'm trying, to find out what the rifle really likes best, and if you lucky it's a cheaper brand. My friends rifle loves the lot of Eley EPS Black box he got and will put them all day long in a thumbnail size group at 100M, anything else is quarter to half dollar size with some flyers. The only way to know is to do some bench work with the different ammo's and when you find a good one buy as much of that lot number you can find/afford.
My Anschutz's all shoot SL Jagd (Lapua companies just like Wolf) very well and I just shoot the Eley in the bigger matches, not that it helps with my scores any as much as it does with me knowing I shot the best ammo that my rifle likes and the miss was all my fault and not the ammos. (Then you blame it on the wind, sun, noise, etc

)

Sheesh. I should have use the Super Silhouex yesterday! It was one of those days when the wind was 20mph at the line (two minutes east, uh, wait, not - west 4, umm...) and dead calm at Rams. Yuck. Match high score was 22?! Shoulda used rat shot...
