I'm content. It'll work for the kids' gun until he's big enough to need a longer barrel.
The condition of the gun was like-new. I tinkered with the trigger some to get some 2nd stage and weight back in it, but I think it may have had the spring swapped out as it still feels light to me. (Confirmed - I compared the 2nd stage spring to another 1712 and it's appreciably lighter weight.)

Nice Mike, would have loved to have gotten that for my 12 year old niece who wants to start shooting . My CZ has a to long LOP for her, but I'm not cutting it down ;) will be looking for something in a youth rifle for her soon.

Bob, I've got an Achiever that will be retired now because of this 1712. I have a cut-down 64 too but the wood has been modified to death... Anyhow, if you have any interest, let me know as I'm going to put them up pretty soon.

I have a Remington 521 Jr and may get drilled and tapped for a scope for her, just not a fan of the triggers on them.
