We do not need to have the sight's rules re-defined and put in black and white so that the lawyer's types can use them for their benefit and screw up what we have.
I'll second that!

It was very nice to have met you Lone Ringer. I believe that you're right about leaving the rules alone. What other silhouette game can you shoot at with a gun and ammo you just bought at wally world. Good shooters will always be good shooters with anyone's equipment. One new shooter from Okie land ( a teenage girl) used borrowed guns and ammo to shoot her first match and she er, out shot some old gray headed guy from the same state! But I won't mention any names!!!
The silhouette staff at the NRA needs a little thank you every now and then and I'll ask them to just leave the rules the way they are.

No problem folks, I just wish I'd been a little more assertive in getting pics of the SBCLA results the last day of the match. I saw lots of folks taking pics of them and assumed someone else would have them to post.
We stayed for the New Mexico State match, along with the resultant Banquet/Get Together last night, and are on our way home now. I do have a LOT more pics to post, once I'm back home and have access to a bit more bandwidth than the cell phone internet connection I've been using for the past couple weeks.
The New Mexico State awards banquet was a hoot, although I'm still not certain even today whether we made it out of there with all our awards, cash, or even the pocket books we started with... You see, we were late arriving and had to sit at the back of the room at the table with Mick, ExPom, and a few other characters of questionable behavior. My son won a few awards only to have to negotiate their release from the clutches of the resident "Jon/Staff"... Those in attendance know exactly of whom I speak.
I'm also now beginning to understand the benefits, along with the tax/tariff collection structure of the RamSlammer's society much more completely (I was taxed $5 earlier in the week for being out of uniform... A fine that was imposed because I allowed my son to wear my newly acquired RamSlammer cap that day).
Seriously though, we had a good time at last year's match, we had a GREAT time this year! Lotsa shenanigins and practical jokes going on, but I cannot recall a more friendly and genuine group of folks.

PS - I could only get one of the Aussie crew to try the pickled Okra...

Tim...none of them(OZ) tried a pickled egg in front of me...they may have done it later in the week but I doubt it.
Thanks for the pic's, and don't worry about the 5 bucks, they really got Timfine...some of which came back to me, so i bought a round at Colfax for them.

Now Mary,
You know that as part of the Ramslammer brother hood, I think I allowed the ram slamming winnings go to the youth development program. Of course I could be wrong as the rules seemed to change routinely.
I am thinking we should start the US charter for the Ramslammers. The US ball of shame could be very interesting based on Raton discussions.
