Commander Kitty...no it was not red, and I doubt he'll trade before Texas.
Sgt Ducky....come on man the perosn running th match never gets a chance to shoot with people like you and Masshole squadded together.

BTW

The Dept Of Defense briefed the president this morning and told OBAMA that two Brazilian soldiers were killed in Iraq. To everyone's surprise, all the color drained from Obama's face. Then he collapsed onto his desk, head in his hands, visibly shaken, almost in tears. Finally, he composed himself and asked, 'Just how many is a brazilian?'

This is especially enlightening since he obviously has no understanding of a billion or trillion either.

With the risk of getting Evelio out of joint because of changing topics, or maybe it is the same topic, but if y'all are planning all these shootin' trips, don't forget the Tennessee State Champs to be held on 29 August in Chattanooga.

More details will follow.

Mary, Gator,
This is the Club House forum, which was created for any kind of B.S. just perfect, no complaints from my side.
Sgt. Ducky. I have not found a good volunteer to call the match, so for now it looks like I will be doing the calling, and probably won't get a chance to shoot.
Evelio.

Evelio and Sgt. Ducky,
Sounds to me like the Big is side stepping Ducky....I say he's runnin' scared of a B class shooter.

It is rather hard for me to comprehend how Evelio can forget a challenge for some obscure reason such as being Match Director and having to call the match! Why, he is a Master Gunsmith and should be able to beat me anytime!

I would suggest for more truthful comments on this subject, someone start a thread in the Behind the Berm section! I just want to know if Pat Steiger is still in AAA!

Ducky, being capable of putting guns together is nowhere related to being able to hit targets consistently standing on my hind quaters, besides, I don't remember you issuing a challenge, maybe I am posessed by the same sickness that made you think you are a " B " shooter.
I tell you what, I will somehow find a way to shoot in my match, if you promise to give me a chance to beat you again in your match at Winnsboro, No F------- excuses accepted, specially not shooting because you are running the match, hell you have half of Lousiana helping you run that match, I only have my wife, and maybe 2 or 3 other guys helping, but they are also shooting in the match.
Spot me 10 in the Aggregate and you have a deal, OK Cabron ????

Evelio....you are a crazy Cuban, spot you ten in the aggregrate when shooting against a lowly "B" class shooter. Come on man you should be spotting Ducky at least 15, as he has forgotten how to shoot.

I say that Evelio can spot me about 17.5 targets in the agg to make it fair.

Ii will tell you that Evelio cannot get me to shoot in the Southern Nats as I have tried that before and too many distractions. I will however shoot in the Team shoot and we can have a contest there! Evelio can shoot on turkeys and I will shoot on pigs. That will be more than fair. What do you think Mary?

I say your challenge is more than fair in the offer to the Crazy Cuban...

Ducky, Mary, I totally dis-agree with being fair, my score book will attest to that fact, but I will shoot even if we both shoot at pigs.
By the way, I finally heard back from the Omni Hotel and they will give us a special rate of $79.00 per night and possibly maybe even $69.00, but not sure yet.
Those of you staying there, make sure you tell them you are there for the Texas State Rifle Match.
Evelio.
Bullshit on to many distractions at your match, you only have to be on the line once every hour. and spend the rest of the time visiting, I have to call the match, shoot, take care of the target setters, and turn in all scores, plus _________ etc. etc.

I am planning on going to Winnsboro again this year (my second time) and I'm planning a side trip after the match. My wife and I are planning on going to New Orleans for a couple of days. I found a Clarion Hotel on Canal Street that was very reasonable.

Now the questions: :?:

Is this a good area to stay in ^#(^ (if not, then where)? :-bd
Since I'll be travelling with firearms, will they be safe in the room while we are sight-seeing  (suggestions)?
Can anyone recommend a restaurant or two or any other "points of interest"? @-)

If you have the chance, you might want to try to fly Southwest just to get to hear/see this on the plane. In my recent trip to Alabama and then the Bahamas, I flew on a total of six planes. I'm not sure I payed attention to the pre-flight speech a single time. I would have if it had been like this.
