Atlantis - CapeTown - South Africa

Will take some pics of the Silhouette range next time but this is the pic from the neighbouring paperpunching range - that's more photogenic with the city and Table Mountain in the background.

My little range out the back door of our place near Atlantic City, WY. 100 meters long and 8 feet wide. I can shoot smallbore and .22/pistol caliber silhouettes, as well as some benchrest here. We enjoy bring up guests to shoot, but only one person can shoot at a time.

Here's some pics of my range, located on our farm about 60 miles north of home. We don't get to shoot it as much as we like, there's always lots of other work that needs doing there, but we do shoot it when we can. We have the Redmist invitational every year and get the friends all over for an informal match followed by BBQ and refreshments. Doesn't get much better, friends, firearms and food, It's the highlight of the season for us.

David, what's the scale of the bigger targets, I assume the little ones are smallbore rifle targets.
Whittington center during the nationals this year. Alot of targets.

The large silhouettes are for handgun silhouette and I was told they are 3/8" size. We only have fun matches at our gun club so we use what we feel like.

The small ones are regulation SB targets; we used to only shoot the small ones but fewer people would come out and participate so we went to the large ones. They are very popular with most people shooting those. We put out the small ones for me and a couple of other shooters.

I was surprised at how green the range is in the picture! We have been getting rain in the evening almost every week! What an unusual
weather pattern we have been having.

It's that global warming, don't you know! Have you not been paying attention to what they have been telling you? We have had beautiful weather here in Arkansas for the last few weeks, rain and low temps. Figment of our imagination I'm sure. But I'm enjoying it none the less.
Stay Safe,
Mark
