A good shooten buddy of mine was a 30-year Navy vet. He started in UDT and then when Kennedy drove the formation of highly trained SEAL Teams, he was a "Plank Member" (one of the original members) of SEAL Team Five. He had more than a few "salty" sayings. One of his favorites was: Question: "What's happiness in the Army? Answer:"A steak on every plate, a punk in every barrack's bunk."

Dan, I spent four years at SDVT-1 (SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team-1). We were stationed out in Hawaii on Ford Island. Our master chief was one of the original SEALs spun up during Vietnam. He was a pretty salty man himself. Some great stories that guy had.
