I've never been to Disney Land, but I've been to Disney World.

I have met a number of the cast at the right coast, one grew up down the street from me, used to babysit him.

jmdavis..... I avoid such a place, prefer to waste my money flying around
the country checking out the local liquor stores for unique brands of vodka while competing. If was a true range, it is probably gone, the reason for my searching for land out west, too many people and too many ranges being closed for stupid reasons.

I was 21 before I went the first time, only then because of Kiwi's visiting, needing a ride, went on New Years eve of all times, only went back once, 8 months later with another Kiwi. Since then I have managed to arrange for others to take visitors.
The point here is that there are plenty of things to do with children that do not require spending absurd amount of money to see fake settings and a Hollywood version of what something is like. I have never taken my 16 year old to Disney, but he has been to the Bahamas, Mexico, Canada, and 22 states within the US. Guess NZ will be next on the list to get him to. Maybe the ANZAC match will be when I can get him out of school for a while.

I can understand. I have been to Disney World twice. The first time, the year that they opened while my family was living in Cocoa Beach. The second time when I was working on a documentary about the Space Shuttle Columbia in 1981.

It was really just a Gallery with bb-guns I believe. But it was more fun than most of the park in my mind.

Shooting and hunting are the reasons that I bought 56 acres here in Virginia this past summer. So I understand your search.

I hear ya, its not my decision to take kids to Disney, its the wife......maybe I can drop them off at disney and go fishing in tampa with Dawg and a mutual friend.

Chicken, my wife figured out a long time ago how to do Disney. She had a friend who had problems walking so she rented a wheelchair for her. If you are in a wheelchair, no waiting in lines, you have your own entrances and get to sit in the front. She also used the person in the chair as a wheelbarrow and put all her stuff in her lap. I haven't been to the catfish house on Lake Marion for a while, we actually have flats fisherman over here on the coast that has opened a decent hole in the wall at Frontenac, you remember the flea market!!!
We can even get some good fried oysters there, Norman's is still pulling in some decent raw ones, once in a while. Politics at the Port is closing down the shrimping out there, may even have problems getting Scotts favorite of Rock shrimp soon. Corky Bells burned down two years ago, they are about to reopen, maybe they'll change the grease more often now. Bernards Surf sold about three months ago, to the owners of the bar at the end of Minutmen, don't know what it is like anymore. Guess rattlesnake in NM is looking better all the time.
