Trent, All I know is when I got home this evening there were at least another dozen of those cute little stuffed animals sitting on my counter....with some other critters added to the collection. Something is going on between the jjp, mini Kitty and jackrabbit kid, I only know that I was told to wear the yellow one. As for the SHilen barrel, 6.5 is a great caliber, beats a 7-08 any day!

Jason, the call I recieved today after some dozen texts yesterday informed that he asked them to take him somewhere so he could give them his shorts rather than get patted again. That will teach him to fly into Seattle and then try to fly out with stuffed dogs with rabbit ears on them. Something just not right with that, worse than coffee with a straw. I had no problem getting through TSA with a groaning stuffed Hippo that appeared late Sunday night.

I was patted down and tested for gun powder before I even got to security. Then the body scan kept telling the officer that I had something in my right front pocket. Well, after 30+ minutes of them searching the same front pocket and being told not to speak. I insisted they take me somewhere and just take my pants. All it was after all this. There was a doubled over spot in the sewing at the bottom of the pocket. Pocket lint would have been bigger. I was tested for gunpowder three times. Must not take much to wash it off. I was carrying a sweatshirt jacket with me that I shot in. I know it had to be covered with powder.

The joys of flying.

When they searched my suitcase and found 2 mini pillow pets and 9 discounted easter stuffed animals. They thought that they needed to find this sick $%^$#$%^&*&^$$&^!!!

Trent wrote:Ahhhhh. So I don't need to go out and get any stuffed animals to try and pick up a couple more points. I really thought they were lucky charms or something. Haha. Ok I can scratch that off my list.
Trent, they most certainly are good luck charms... With me I had a mini pink rubber duckie, a miniature donald duck, and Energizer bunny with bling, a hot pink hippo bag clip, and the newly acquired Purple peep. (making me the founder of the Peep club)

and fyi even Kathy keeps a smurf with her at every match

I saw a bunch of cameras out at the match. I am surprised that no one else is posting any up.

I am also a little surprised at how little chatter there is on the board in regards to what I felt was an incredible match.

Hey I'm just gathering my energy for the Southern Nationals!!!

There are rumors that the Commander Kitty and myself will be putting on a junior clinic Friday between 2 and 4 pm at Winnsboro.

I am still jet lagged...takes a lot of energy to take a 12 year old to the beach, Mt. St Helens, and a great match all in one weekend. :D .....I did take lots of pics, but mostly of the aforementioned beach and volcano....Lot's of great stories will come from the match, to be sure...also more than one national record was broken....Great time had by all...And am looking forward to working the clinic with Innocent at Winnsboro.....will be a lot of fun..

Does anyone have the score sheets. Also what records were broken? Would be great if the names were included with the pix for those of us who don't get to travel that far. Thanks.....and great shooting I'm sure.

Mike posted a clickable link to the results in the opening post of this topic. Haven't checked to see if it worked, but knowing Mike, I'd be surprised if it didn't. Mini Kitty (Mallory Nichols, 12 year old Master) shot a 38/40 in hunter rifel to set a new sub junior national record, and also broke the hunter rifle sub junior long run records for Turkeys and Rams. There were other long run attempts, but I think they fell short.
