Re: 52 Win for Hunter Class?
Yes, I was taking a sabbatical...no laptop/computer while camping at the Ben Avery with great company, shooting HP at the AZ states in almost perfect weather with good food in abundance and even a little to killya..a shot or two of potato juice, some fine dark chocolate, a few cigars, and great amusement watching all the discussions about the best loads etc.
Short answer on the 52C, yes you can set it up to make weight on hunter, several ways. My love for this action, despite the 'slow' lock time is stability of the action...aside from the feel for me, they just plain fit. If you have a Keynon trigger for it even better, but he really didn't like doing C's so there are not a lot of them floating around. Feel free to pm me or email at [email protected] with any specific questions, I will be shooting the Georgia states this coming weekend, may take the laptop for that one, we'll see what my attitude towards work is later in the week. and Pe Ell the end of the month, followed by covering the state of Florida most of May for the Sunshine games so my weekend SC and email responses will be limited.

Baby Huey...pm back at you. I do not have any 2 stage in my 52's but have shot one that did have a 2 stage in it....many years ago. Worked on by a late great friend and fellow 52 lover, who after he died I found out he had graduated from Trinidad College as a gunsmith.
Malinios did Blue Thunder have a 2 stage? Pops might have had one in that sweet baby.

Intresting thought. Buy a Winchester or Browning 52 and then put a two stage in it later. Try to find out if this is possible. Ive been looking on the net and nothing has really came up.
