"Hi. This is Jason's new highpower rifle. I can't come to the phone right now, as I'm busy getting getting ready for the match this weekend. I hear that the last few things necessary for that got ordered with 2-day shipping today or will get picked up this afternoon. To save your the rejection in case you were going to ask, Jason has made it clear that he plans to spend time with me every night this week and we will be together this weekend also. I'm sure his wife will understand. Thanks for calling and see you at the match."

And as his spotter for the weekend I can vouch for the fact that he shot lousy on Sunday...still flying high from the rifle win. But then the other one I was spotting for did well, even if he did let a kid beat him. Good shooting Dave.

Thanks, Mary. Love you, too!

Indeed. I think Dave's got an unfair advantage, though. He's big enough to scare the chickens off the rail. I'm sure that's why they all jumped off on that last relay on Sunday afternoon.

Jason,
Focus my boy, focus......I would have been the same way had i won the rifle, except I wouldn't have been worrying about how to explain to the wife about where I got that money squirreled away!!!
Might have had some issues from Don about why such a wildcat cartridge and did i really expect him to start reloading another caliber.

Hey everyone,
I'm glad everyone had a good fun match, wish I could have been there to keep everyone on their toes.
I'm guessing my mom told everyone on BTB what happened to me instead. Can't wait to see those who make it to Winnsboro in June.

Congrats to all the shooters who came and had a great time. I did too. Want to thank Steve and all those who helped run the match cause you made it easy for those of us who just selfishly concentrated on our shooting. Want to thank my spotter for those scores and for the all those grilled oysters. Don't tell anyone else about them cause then everyone will go there after the match next year.
