Thanks for the explanation, that make a lot more sense. I've known Gator almost since I can remember and him trashing his home state and loving cats just isn't normal. Was starting to worry about what is in the water in N Georgia, maybe some of Duke Power and the other nuke plants close by are seeping into the aquafier.

BTW Gator some fine FL vitamin C is on its way to you, if it has anything wrong let me know, Polichicco is no longer shipping, may have to move to the politician side of the family as Crisafulli still is but very low volume this year.

This has nothing to do with loyalty to my state. Re-read the posts Innocent(?). The discussion was about virgins in Florida.. One has to yield to caution when speaking about elves, goblins, gremlins, virgins and other supernatural beings. Having been a native, male, spending most of the formative years in the state, I, as did most of my like-minded male associates, did all in our power to stamp out such phenomena for the good of mankind and my beloved state. Tough job but someone had to do it. Found it rather exhausting from time to time but looking back I see it as a job that needed to be done.

Appeasing the silhouette gods....to traitors, similarities of cats and virgins....sounds like a typical government meeting to me.
Back to work as usual, having spent the morning in a Fed meeting, find it to be the same as the state level, just more players.

Except there are more Prostitutes in a Gov't meeting.... (kind of goes along with the lack of virgins I think, but I'll leave that analysis to Gator

"A MEETING IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR PROGRESS"

Had this message behind my desk years ago when working with the Feds in the space and military markets. They would look at it and look away. Feds appear to feel more "bullet proof" in their eyes then most other bureaucrats. A meeting is a way for them to have the possibility of them getting you to do their job. Comes out good=they get credit. Results suck=you take credit. Yep-the American way.

My life is spent in meetings anymore.... we were informed a week ago our group/division is being sold to a European company, so they are getting thier pound of flesh now before we leave. Vacations cancelled, but you still have to use it

, around the clock meetings (last night with AP from midnight till 3AM, back in by 7AM, don't you just love it.

I can feel the vacations issue, have use or loose leave by the end of the year, but so much backlog and work that I'm not allowed to leave until the projects are done.

Good luck and hope you can get some sleep through some of the meetings.
