Hey Paul....The front ring assy. is mounted bass akwards...The foot of the front ring should point forward if you want the built in taper to be right....Marv

Thanks for the heads up. If you remember you sent the set direct to Mark, they were installed when I got the gun Saturday. I thought that they looked funny with the base sticking out past the end of the action. I fix it a few minutes ago after reading your message.

I think I'll just keep the 40x for now. But your right two 54-18 won't pay the tab on this one. Unless you have done the same to yours.
