REDUCED Rem 541T Single Shot or Mag Fed

This 541T has a unique custom made Steel Single Shot Adapter and added Second Action Screw. The Single Shot Adapter was modeled after the original plastic option from Remington whereas the Second Action Screw was modeled after this article (http://www.rimfireshooting.com/index.php?showtopic=3031 - see first picture listed). The Barrel is a standard weight 24”. Also included in the auction are the Weaver Bases, Burris High Mounts, and Weaver KT15 15x fixed power duplex crosshair scope (note: the base holes in the action were converted to larger more robust 8-40 screw threads). Metal condition is excellent, there is one knick (roughly one sixteenth inch square) in the barrel that I could not get to photograph. Wood condition has notable use marks. The plastic butt plate was switched to a Pachmayr pad, although, as shown in the last picture, the installation could have been better (note the small grind mark into the wood). LOP is roughly 13 ½”, maybe a bit longer. In addition, other than the butt pad switch the rifle can be converted back to the original magazine fed configuration, nothing was done to the stock or action for the conversion except the part switch (the extra parts and one five shot magazine are included in the sale).

Overall the rifle has been well cared for and shoots very well out to 100m. I had set this up for my son to join me at the Silhouette range, but he's not been interested, so time to sell. $800 by Certified Bank Checks or USPS Money Orders only. Neat! What does it weigh as shown? Is the single shot sled removable? How many 5 shot clips come with package? Thanks

Thanks for the post rogersptl. Here's what I have on your questions:

1) Weight - Sorry, I don't recall. We weighed it at a shoot and it met weight for Hunter, but I do not recall the weight and we do not have a scale at home. My memory is telling me 7 3/4#.
2) Single Shot Adapter - It is removable by simple disassembly (action out of the stock and then one screw) and then the gun easily converted back to a repeater (all parts included).
3) Clip - One 5 shot clip included.

Sorry,to hi jack this thread but i have not seen a 541-T 5 shot magazine in any gun shop or gun show new or used in 3 years.Some 10s,anybody else have a source?

Regarding 5 shot magazines, the last time I checked Outback Gun Parts has them.
