Wish you guys were closer, I have a 1712 all set up like that for when I shot open sight light rifle in the Sporterifle league I was in.

I new I should have been an attorney when I grew up. Have all those nice guns. I have the sights, just need something to put them on. Maybe I can find some PVC and a 2x4 to stick-em on. Nice set up Dustin. Shoot well!

@BruceH,

For the open sights you are looking for, possibly rimfire central will have those details. They have a section dedicated to CZ's and have discussed in detail what you are looking for.

Chuck,

Thanks. That is where I have gotten my information so far. I just can't get a response from the BRNO sight seller.

This Saturday we are adding an open sight classification match at the regular PSC silhouette match in Friendswood, Texas. 3, 40 shot matches, shoot the guns in any order, only the Std and Hunter rifle count for prizes. This facilitates rifle sharing. We are ramping up to kick some cajun butt in August. :D (nothing like smack talk early!) If you've never shot at PSC, contact me for the gate code.

thanks!!!!

Hey Chuck,

I REALLY hate to rain on your parade, but to make a truly informed decision, you need to buy an Anschutz and a FWB to to a fair comparison. also, your beautiful rifles have warts on them. The bolts are on the wrong side =)) , seriously though, it's a heck of a decision. We shot an open sight match today and it seems the Anschutz 2013 in the 2213 stock was the favorite. I suggest you get one and try it out for us, as a public service and all........... =)) Although the person who seemed to have the most fun is a beginner (in his 3rd match) who brought his 58 year old Montgomery Wards $15 special and hi 7/40. There was a party every time one fell. It was his first rifle he bought when he was 11. The best part of this whole match today was everybody passing the rifles around, coaching each other, sharing tips, laughing a lot. It was a very relaxed match. Good camaraderie.

Ya, I shot open sights right next to her today: lots of animals falling. Mine were safe, though.....

cj2...this used to be a separate class, I shot irons until 1997, when I finally was able to afford a scope.
