That is an amazing rack! I wonder where in "west Boulder county" that was taken. With all the roads out, access must have been a little difficult. I think at that time Boulder Canyon to the Peak to Peak highway and then west was the only way to get that high.

Jim, he lives five miles north of Nederland right off the P to P hiway. Our house was a quarter mile from his. He will not divulge his spot, but I got a good hunch where he shot it. Yeah, he was "stranded" during the floods and washed out roads. Nice place to be stuck.

Very unusual rack, never seen one with front drop tines. I seen one in November near my house one night that was maybe 24" wide but had tines going every direction with the space in the middle completely filled.
If you hunt hard enough in Colorado it's possible to put a 30" buck on the wall, finding a huge non-typical is a different story, they are truly difficult to put a tag on.
