Anyone familiar with Huber Concepts 2-Stage R700 triggers?

Just noticed the only other drop in trigger made seems to be from a place called Huber Concepts. Has anyone used one of their triggers to give some info on them compared to the CG Jackson 2-stage trigger? I know you can also get the hanger and mount a Anschutz trigger as well but I am curious about these Huber triggers. They seem like a popular trigger on a lot of custom action builds in BR circles for those wanting a 2-stage.

I have not used this trigger but for the price.... I would checkout a Jewell pretty damn good single stage trigger and/or a jackson trigger. I do have experience with this trigger http://www.x-tremeshooting.com/index.ph ... order-page. It is pretty good, it is not an Anschutz trigger but it is pretty good. I do understand the later models are better than the early ones.

Another option if you are looking for a two stage trigger is: http://www.briley.com/anschutztriggerad ... ngton.aspx which adapts an Anschutz trigger to a remington action. I have heard both good and bad about this. A couple of individuals local the H town designed this adapter.

Dee Keith up here in WA makes a hanger for the Anschutz trigger. Myself I use a Jewell but I'm thinking of going the Annie 5018 route for a standard rifle (I use my hunter for both right now).

I'm NOT a gunsmith but I keep my ears open when the guys that do have those skills talk and what I hear over and over is Anchutz, Jewell, Anschutz, Jewell.

Is it made out of steel or aluminum? Is it more durable than the Alu Briley hanger?

Hey Dustin. Belated congrats on the new rug rat!

I'll check with him as we're shooting over in Missoula next weekend and he'll be there. My guess is yes it's steel as I believe the inspiration for it was to make something better than the briley hanger. Will confirm though!

I have one of Keith's hangers with an Anschutz 5022 trigger on my highpower rifle. I believe it's a harder alloy of aluminum, not steel.

Jason is correct, they are made of 7075 Aluminum which is a lot stronger than the grade used on the Briley. I presently have 3 in my house right now that were installed on 2 Stiller's Predator actions, and one on a Stolle Panda action. They look and feel great. By the way they are installed on the rifles used to win the Nationals this year. The only draw back that I can see, is the new transfer bar is practically fitted to the action, so it kind of makes it a dedicated trigger to that action. There is no alteration to the action, so any other trigger can be installed if needed. All the modifications is to the trigger itself.
