Sighted in at high power range earlier. What a nice range. Between that and the killer BBQ in Bryant I'm really glad I took the long hike down here.

Byron you're missing out bud!

Um. Dee. When packing ammo it isn't a bad idea to bring enough for practice AND the MATCH!

Just sayin'. Just sayin'. =)) =)) =))

On behalf of the Benton Gun Club, I would like to thank all of the competitors that made the trip to Arkansas for this years Mid-South Regional HP & SB silhouette matches. We had a great time again this year, with near perfect weather both days. The food and fellowship were about as good as it gets, and we look forward to doing it again next year.

I would also like to thank the many members of the Benton Gun Club that worked so hard to make this match a success.

Thanks to all,
Greg Sullivan

Thanks to all of you in Arkansas for another great match this year! Didn't get home till 1am but it was well worth it for the great time we all had. Hell we even had so much fun we decided to let LSU allow the Razorbacks to win a baseball ball game

Will be looking forward to next year. If anyone has been on the fence about making the trip to this match you should really pull the trigger and go next year. Awesome range and great hosts serving up some good tasty grub to all that attend. It's one of those what's not to love about it kind of matches. Well besides my Small Bore scores that is, but can't blame that on the hosts can I! ~x( At least I got some wood, I mean nice plaques for High Power :ymparty:

Great to meet ya Bigfoot. And trust me I learned my lesson on the self imposed ammo shortage #-o Just couldn't help myself after eating lunch trying to figure out that strange wind that was out there on those Turkeys and ended up doing some of that Federal Government math in my head that told me even though I only had 20 rounds left in the CPT box that would still be plenty for 30 animals come match time.

I did manage to get 7 of them long necked birds when it counted in that 2nd match though :-bd

And hey I had a extra whopping 5 rounds of SK+ left over on Sunday!

Note to self going forward will be to not only pack extra shoot off rounds but too also leave 50 extra CPT rounds IN THE CAR!

Have a safe trip home man and good luck at the Conard Cup!

Here's the Highpower scoreboards, will post Smallbore in next post. Bill Motl won 4-gun aggregate. Dustin Flint won almost everything else, including "High Junior" for Highpower. =))
