Other silhouette matches I always say don't worry about Ram Knockdown. Hitting targets is what counts and better to shoot a low recoil load that makes for more hits on CPT. Sombody is a 60 or 70 % shooter K/D is not the issue.

Smallbore Lever is different though. Recoil SV to HV is neglable HS has enough accucary to do the job and high hit rates are common. You can't afford to lose Rams hit. Even High Speed if you don't get good sets will leave them standing.

My suggestion would be to try .22 Winchester Power Point. This is high velocity, but very accurate in most guns. That wide 40 grain hollowpoint seems to have extra knockdown power as compared to other 40 grain HV bullets.
