Pat you MUST go with the F27A...psteiger wrote:oh, did you want me to post the rest of the pictures???? LOL. I figured Hambone was such a generous guy, he'd be happy to share his Christmas cheer with all. (I went back and forth whether to post "in progress" pictures) There is a Mexican kid I saw at Winni a few years ago with a left handed 2013 in a McMillian hunter stock. I wish I could remember his name. Gabriel probably knows who it it. I think he was from Saltillo. Cool setup. He even let me shoot it.
If I go with the ULA it will be a single shot. Mark was very generous with his info. I got to see all the issues. I don't know how I'll go. I also considered the Stiller. Or maybe an F27A........That would be really crazy.
I snuck my camera in by putting it in a do-nut box. Fabio never saw it coming. When he went to the store for cigarettes, instead of making the pillars, I snapped pictures of all the projects going on.Not really. I was busy hiding my screw ups in the bottom of the trash can, and chucking up a new piece of stock.
Happy Thanksgiving! If you're in Houston on Saturday, there is a match at PSC down in Friendswood.

Evelio here is the F27A, Steve B was building one if I recall correctly

Benchrest? That's what you do when you can't stand up and shoot anymore, right?
(Note that I came to silhouette from benchrest and evidently this back injury that I'm dealing with was evidently about 1mm from me going back to benchrest...

Did you notice that bottle of premium rum in the first picture ???? the SOB bribes me with one, everytime he comes over. Next time he better bring some 25 years old Single Malt.
Oh by the way, the only reason he posted that picture, is his way of bragging on the stock finish, he did spray it for me. Nice job.

I was really surprised about the sitdown guys, at first they were acting like a bunch of a-- holes, but after a couple of times they got really friendly, almost like the Sil. shooters. You talk about a--holes, nothing like the High Power Over the course shooters. I was one of them for about 10 years, until I started sil. shooting, after a year of that, I never went back to the HP course matches.
