Does anyone use these scope rings? They seem to be of a quality to complement the quality of an Anschutz firearm.

A tad pricy I'd say.DavidABQ wrote:https://www.murphyprecision.com/Products/Item/2003

It seems silly to spend upwards of $2195 for a 1712, $800 for a Leupold scope only to use a pair of $20 rings. What is another few hundred dollars after spending so much for a rifle and scope?

Well I'd go with a set of Marv's rings and mounts first. Wwth those other ones you may also end up real close on your weight as you have to also use a rail to mount them on. As far as price the rifle and scope are functional vs the rings.DavidABQ wrote:Bob259 wrote:A tad pricy I'd say.DavidABQ wrote:https://www.murphyprecision.com/Products/Item/2003

Yeah, Aluminum is lighter than titanium and I am already closer to the max weight than I would like.

HI ,
I must say 300.00 is TOO HIGH , for what you are ACTUALLY getting ...
I would never USE , THOSE rings
FOR under 100.00 you can get MANY types of EXCELLENT rings , that will put THOSE OTHER rings to shame .
buyer BEWARE ...

They do seem a little pricy but you have to admit they are worthy of such a magnificent firearm as an Anschutz rifle.GSL wrote:HI ,

They do look well made, but kind of clunky for the elegant looking 1712, which I cannot picture with a Picatinny rail at all. I don't think the extreme cost alone justifies them as a good match. Just my 2 cents. Dave

They are indeed expensive but they are not any less clunky looking than a set of rings from BKL.Dave W wrote:They do look well made, but kind of clunky for the elegant looking 1712, which I cannot picture with a Picatinny rail at all.
