14 days to go and I still am crappy shooter.

I was hoping to at least make it to mediocre. No such luck for me.

I am looking forward to meeting some of you fellow shooters while I a there.

I usually save myself for the big matches. Then when I get there I forget where I saved it.

I got very sick just before the Ironman in June. Spent 2 weeks recovering (and fell 2 weeks behind with the household chores and remodeling). So I have only been out to the range once in the last month, and I'm going to my first nationals in 2 weeks. At least I know I'm only going to have fun, cause I sure haven't practiced enough. We can commiserate over a beer in the evenings David.

OldRanger, I feel your pain; normally I am lucky to shoot scores that will qualify me as a B class competitor but who knows now.

I will be easy to find at Nationals, I will the one wearing a hat and sunglasses .

Yeah that should narrow it down. I'll be the 6'2" ball of sweat with a winter camo hat on. It helps me to think cool.....

I will be wearing pants if that helps? I almost always wear pants when I go shooting.

The name on my tag will be David Barboza if that helps.

Looking forward to seeing all you guys, you'll know me by my rifle and vest. BTW I sometimes wear shorts while shoveling snow, yea I'll have them on in the NM heat.

Now you guys have me thinking about buying a fancy vest made out of dead cow. JerryG, is the rumor true that you have a pink unicorn patch on the back of your vest?

Well now I went and done it. I shot my 3rd AA score and moved up yesterday. Now I get to shoot Nationals in a class I just barely squeezed into (in hunter rifle). Ahh well, at least I can't be accused of sandbagging!
