When we shot last weekend everyone had coats on. You could see your breath. There was still snow on the range. I was tempted to see if I could stick my tongue to my rifle, but I resisted the urge.

I hope it warms up for the Iron Man there in beautiful Missoula. 95 here right now but When I come north in mid May I'll freeze my backside off.

Congratulations also go to his bunking buddy and BFF the Guru him self on winning a few awards, the crowd went wild with chants of Goat roo, Goat roo, Goat roo. Rumor has it that to save money they got a room with one king size bed so it must be it rubbed off

Mary, a couple or three "goose egg" (ZERO) scores were posted by some poor chaps firing 6.5mm something rounds at the long necked birds. I tried to explain the "Diameter Domination Dynamics" that 150 gr. 7mm SMK's have over .264 pills out at turkeys in heavy wind. They failed to grasp reality. Too bad.

I believe that was a 7mm pill next to us that shot a goose egg on the rams in that last match and the .264 pills with a far lower weight were taking them down quite well, did you see that through your scope ;)

The goo roo can't see anything smaller than 7mm. That's why he has so much trouble spotting for big.
