High Power Silhouette in Virginia
Have a look at the match flyer for Silhouette at Cavalier Rifle & Pistol Club in the Club House Section
Our Small-bore rifle. NRA Hunters Pistol, CLA, Rimfire + Pistol Cartridge and Single Shot Silhouette programs are flourishing, HP has been slowly dying. It's a great range and far as I know only one between Pennsylvania and who knows how far South & West. 20 odd years ago we had 15-20 shooters every match. Last year 3 or4 most matches. Lot of reasons but mostly MD did not promote the match.
We are going to try to jump start it with two matches. Get some turn out will go back to Monthly. If not the range time may be lost to another program. If any of you guys want to have a practice session afternoon on the First Sat of each month swingers will be available. Bring a Single shot or Lever action and shoot the Club rules Ram Bash match 9am same day. Will probably run Friday before the match practice sessions all day with full target set.
