It occurred to me that I don't know of any manufacturer producing moly-coated bullets in that diameter/weight, so I got curious. After searching around a bit to confirm my suspicions, it looks like those things have to be the 139gr Hornady Interlock SST bullets.

If anyone is shooting a 7mm and is interested, those are a steal at $13 per 100, especially if you shoot moly bullets.

I just received 1,000 of the Hornady bullets. They are the 139-gr SST's. The moly coating was dirty so I tumbled them for 45 minutes in an RCBS Sidewinder with old corncob media used for polishing moly-coated bullets. They came out nice and shinny with no moly coming off on the hands any more. That step is part of my old moly-coating process.

With shipping, the cost per 100 was $15.40. The load, in the soon to land 7-04, should be about 24.0 grs of H4198 Extreme, which should push the bullets out the muzzle at about 2,250 fps. Recoil for that load should be about 5.7 ft-lbs. Wind deflection at the turkey line in a 10 mph cross wind should be about 4.2 MOA, or 18.6".

They've had those things for a long time. This shortage (aka Buying Frenzy) must have finally created a demand for them. I love the 139gr SST. It's a thumper. The 154gr SST whacks Rams pretty good too.
