Don't know if anyone here watches the show, our interest in air rifles is mainly in crosstraining for rimfire and highpower silhouette, but the rights to produce the show American Airgunner was purchased by UMAREX, which has headquarters here in Fort Smith AR. Guy that runs the place is a club member at our Old Fort Gun Club here in Fort Smith Arkansas. Anyway, American Airgunner is filming a segment called "Airgunner Challenge" or something like that in May at our local range. Sounds like it's going to be along the lines of "Top Shot" They will bring together contestants from various places and shoot it out for top airgunner and a healthy cash prize, or something like that. Anyway, filming will be in May the show will air later in the year on one of the outdoor networks. They are going to use some of our SASS props in filming. Thought I'd give a heads up if anyone is interested in giving it a watch.

Filming has finished and the folks at American Airgunner and Umarex have sent a Thank you card to the OFGC board of directors with the air dates of the Challenge that they filmed at our range.
The show is American Airgunner and it can be found on the Pursuit Channel, Direct TV channel 608 and Dish Network 240. They will beginning airing the Challenge on June 27th (assume it is a multi part show) and, according to the note the prime time airing of the show will be on Friday (29th) at 7:30...To be sure check you listings for the show and give it a look. I understand that they largely filmed it in our SASS area. Should be worth a look, if you are into airguns.
