They look nice and I like the pellet shaping but that Destroyer Point pellet looks rough on the flesh. I take it you are doing these by hand and not CNC?

You didn't mention what these were threaded and sized for with regards to Makes and Models. I am thinking Crosman by the looks.

There is a niche market for one off and custom parts in the airgun world to be sure. But yours are looking nice for your first go at it, nice job.

Nice work. :-bd

I just got a table-top lathe myself. I'm going to try my hand at making a few for myself.

I have a Taig Micro Lathe and a Sherline CNC Mill I got super cheap off Ebay and retrofitted to be CNC but I rarely use them at all. I find it fascinating to watch and took it as part of my college classes. Running a little Sherline is a far cry from a Fadal 40/20 etc. I know what you mean about costs too for CNC. Although these days the costs have come down a lot and you can convert a lot of manual mills to CNC as well. The tooling is what will eat you alive.

Maybe when I have some interest in it again I will get some bigger equipment but it just doesn't pay unless you are making some money with the machines to own them. Although with the cost of gunsmith barrel work etc I can see where perhaps down the road I may want to venture into that area as I retire someday as a side biz to make some $$. But I really think a CNC plasma cutter or even a large Router might me more economical and make more $$ than machining equipment with less tooling requirements.

Messing around.. This is my little mill setup.. Did this to show someone the process awhile back.
