Jim,
Looks as though the stock matches the annodizing on scope. LOL.
Nice rifle, it should fit right in with the rest of the bling guns.

Looks like an Anshutz 1712 with a 6.5x20 Luepold in a Phar stock with a paint job that went bad.

I think you will find the action to be a 54.18, Lilja barrel. I will agree with the rest.

Damm James, why do you have to be so ugly to our buddies up North, I really think that color looks better than your plain Blue with no Bling.
YOU ARE JUST JEALOUS.
Adios

The action is a "1984" 54.18 with Lilja barrel in an R/T-S Pharr stock as described in my thread named 54.18 MS rebuild. Gunsmithing done by Evelio McDonald. I could not attach pictures due to technical difficulties and Mr. Neihouse posted them as a favor to me and interested parties who requested pictures. The flash seems to have distorted the silver effect; looks better in person than in the picture. No matter what your opinion is I am pleased with the result of this project and it shoots very well, thank you.

Jim, I have to agree with Limey, that damm Dawg and his confederate buddy ( just joking ) are just really wishing to have a gun that will shoot as good as yours.
Have a drink on me James.
Enjoy your gun, and don't worry about what any body else say, all you have to do is put $ 100.00 down and bring your challenger to the 100 meter line on a good bench rest. I'll take half on the bet anytime.
Regards.

We did not lose the war....We are just in a temporary cease fire......Besides, it's too cold up north to be of any value anyway, so why waste time and ammunition

Hey Kitty,
When I said I would take half on the bet, I was not including your guns on this deal, since it would probably be a draw, I was trying to get James going.
By the way, I got your stock in last week, what are we going to do , have you found an action yet ???? give me a call when you get a chance.
Evelio.

(1) Gerry G. and Dawg were just kidding.
(2) Arizona was not a member of the Confederacy.
(3) The rifle looks fantastic.

ajj,

Trying to explain american history and humor to Evelio, is like teaching a pig to sing, It will frustrate you to death and only mildly annoy the pig.
