• Torque settings on 1712 and scope rings

does anyone have the correct torque settings for scope ring screws and also for holding a scope base down on a 1712 receiver using the 6-48 tapped screw holes.

The scope ring torque will vary depending on the manufacturer.

You shouldn't need to go more than 15 to 18 inch pounds on the base to receiver screws.
