Hello, new here and about to be new to rimfire silhouette. My club will start rimfire in May so I have on order a 452 American and a Sightron SIL scope. What rings do you experienced shooters recommend? Looking at Burris Signature and wondering what height would be best. Thanks for any advice. Nice site and forum, btw.

I would go with BKL 257, or BKL 257-H if you want them a bit higher. With that scope/rifle combo, you will have the weight to spare under the smallbore hunter rifle weight limit to use the Burris Signature rimfire rings that are super heavy, but I don't think the clamps on those are nearly as sturdy as the BKL rings. They do offer the ability to add the offset inserts, though.

BKL as Jason specified. Can't go wrong with BKL.

I have the BKL high rings on my 452 Amer. Wish I could go higher. Well, maybe I can add the riser?
