Cowboy Silhouette?
Hello, everyone. I have never been to one of these matches. I live in MI. I do know they have "Long range" (200yds. off bench/Xsticks) gong shoots at a few of the clubs. What is Cowboy Silhouette? What ranges are involved? Would a .38-55 or .40-50 single shot be usable? Do they have .22 matches? What are the ranges? Are single shot rifles allowed? Only .22 lever I have is a 92' pistol gripped Marlin with fixed rear. I suppose I could fit it up with a tang sight? But I am good to go with single-shots. Thanks!

Re: Cowboy Silhouette?
Cowboy silhouette has 3 different diciplines. There is smallbore witch may be lever pump or simi auto must all be tube feed. Second is pistol cartridge witch must be A tube feed lever action ( 357 mag 45 colt 32-20 25-20 22 mag 44 mag 38-40 38 special). The distance for both of these is 40 meters 50 75 and 100 meters. Then there is the long range these also must be tube feed lever action ( 38-55 45-70 30-30 ext). Distance is 50 100 150 and 200 meters. All are shot off hand. Tang sites and reciver sites are permited as long as they were made for that gun. Hope this helps. Welcome Mike
