Weatherby Vanguard Sportser??

Post by chuck d »

Anyone know anything about these?
Looks kind of like Howa action-
Decent looking stock, (functional- not a true Weatherby in finish)
Its at a good price and a good caliber.

thanks

howa does indeed make them, they are very good rifles, may be a bit heavy in action, they are pretty stout, great news is they havent changed much over the years, and aftermarket triggers are readily availible.

let er rip.

I have two of the Howa versions. You can buy them with the camo stock from CDNN for $349 and then switch to something from Stocky's for under $100 more. I also have a Vanguard that I bought from a friend in Idaho who thought it was too heavy to lug up and down mountains. They all shoot well. I was thinking about getting one in 22-250, because I don't have a 22-250.
