Hey guys I was just wondering what would be the easiest way to get a steve wooster stock inletted for a CZ 452 Silhouette. Kinda a late thought but, I'm gonna give it to my dad as a very late fathers day gift, and try to really get him into the sport! Worst comes to worst Im stuck with a CZ 452 in a very nice looking wooster stock. Can you say possible standard rifle build?

IT would only need a rebarreling!

Baby Huey, why would you need to do a standard rifle build on a Wooster stock? They are plenty light enough with a CZ452 to do a hunter. Trust me don't try to get it done in a big hurry, better to give him the pieces and let him know hwat you are doing than to try to rush a job like that. He will understand and aprreciate it just the same...especially if he has to wait to play with it! Just like you at Christmas waiting for himt o finish putting together all the toys.

You do have a good point Mary. All I know is after doing 100m Ram practice today and hitting 6/10 Rams or better every set of 10 I shot is that the only thing the rifle is missing is a good stock. It makes a great rifle, and my pops always says his stock doesn't fit so great

. I guess waiting 3 months or so would be a good idea. I need to use it for practice before Ridgeway anyway. Also, at our club we do a fun rifle match. 50yd, 25yd and 15yd offhand and I know it would be a nice fit for that competition.

And the standard rifle would be a long ways ways down the road, at least a few years.

And the standard rifle may just turn into a hunter with a heavy taper barrel

But I do know I could get the CZ trigger down to lower than 8oz so maybe a standard, but like I said, thats a lonnnnnnnnng ways down the road.
