Masters,

I am taking Statistics this semester (no, I am not the oldest person in class, but damn close), and I am doing a project that I really need your participation in. I would like to find the mean (avg) age of Master class silhouette competitors in the United States. This is across all guns (hunter/standard in HP and SB). If you are a Master in any category I need your help. I would love to have 30+ people's ages but I can make due with 25 people in my sample. If you do not want to publicly post your age I understand and you can just send me a PM. All individual information will remain private.

If you have acquaintances with any Master class shooters that maybe do not post here I would GREATLY appreciate if you would be so kind as to provide me with their age. In that case I do not need their personal info, just their age.

I am also going to post this in the Smallbore forum so that I can hit up both groups. Again though, if you are a Master class competitor in ANY rifle/pistol category, please provide me with your age.

20, master in sb hunter and standard, master in hp hunter, AAA in hp standard

38 years young. Master in Hunter and Standard smallbore. Havent quite made master in highpower yet. I shoot up here in the great north-wet with a large master class of shooters. Id say 10 to 15 in both smallbore and highpower. I believe im the youngest of the bunch. Most of the guys are in their middle 40's on up to one of the best master class shooters around Dennis Martinen whos in his 70's and still wins matchs. That probably doesnt help much, I'll see if I cant get some ages for ya next match.

Shakes, I will be at Pe Ell and I may take a look at the score board and try harassing all the Masters listed. I should have done this at the AZ high power this past weekend.

53 years old, Master in Smallbore Standard and Hunter Rifle.

Good work on the rifle, I can relate to the hand work on a wood stock.

I've done it to the same stock 3 times, haha!

I "wood" bedded a hunter type Rem. 700, then replaced it with a heavy barrel which I glass bedded and had to rechannel the barrel area, then I had to lose 12 freaking ounces to get it to weigh properly so I did my finish work with a rasp!

60 years old and Master on SB, HP and Cowboy rifle silhouette, all seven disciplines, although very seldom shoot Master scores in HP any more but do it in SB from time to time. Cowboy is not a problem and have shot several 39's in all three disciplines.

I am 714 months old or 59 1/2 years old which ever way you look at it. Master in SB standard and HP hunter, with scope guns. Master with all three cowboy guns.

37 here, master in SB hunter/standard, only AAA in HP hunter/standard. I shoot up here in the cold/wet NW with Shakes, so he's not the youngest but close. See you at the Conard Cup.

I am 53, master in all 4 scope rifle silhouette, another is Jeff Boyer, master in all 4 also, I won't tell you his age, but just add 10 to mine. Jim Rose, Jr is also a master in all 4, just take 10 away from my age. If you are doing this for a stat class, you might ask what the age of the master class shooters made it into master, rather than their current age. Unfortunately as the years pile up the scores come down a tad!
