Mary one Hunter and Standard State Champion. I won Standard A class. Hammy got the turkey plaque the first day and the got match champion I think the second day. Hope that helps a little. And I also know JP did real well the first day aswell. Think he got first, don't remember.

Baby Huey was the darling of the match and the BIGGEST new star of the silhouette circuit. Just don't spend eleven hours in a car with him. Hugh and Lynette McCombs put on another great match, but we sure missed you and your wife, Hawk.. I'm sure Mary has better results than Huey (she even wore her Johnny Cash outfit for the awards) I'll try to get some pix up later, you gotta see this kid..

Hawk...you could of sent your better looking half down and she would have kept you informed. I think you just did this to avoid junping out of a perfectly good airplane!!!
I'm sure offical scores will be posted soon. Standard as best I can remember..Wayne Merier 56, match champion in standard, me 54 and State champ,
not going to quote the other classes as it was a tight race in AAA, AA, and A. Greg M (new shooter) won B, 2nd to Johnathon Banyai (sub junior, newbie) doing a 5 shot shootoff agaist Stephen Wells. Stephen having shot and hit on the first shot....but wrong target, turned two more before Johnathon won.
Hunter 62 for me, follwed by Kevin Hanson (Hammy-baby) match winner with 56 ( I think), and a bunch of 3 and 4 way ties for the next few classes, including a shoot off between father and son Rafel and Jorge Martinez for 1st in AA. Greg M won B class in hunter also.
Great match, beautiful weather, mid 70's during the day, light (less than 10mph ) winds, no clouds on Sat, light clouds on Sunday. Very cool in the morning. Fantastic subs bought in for the lunches, collectible shirts that did not match any Florida school colors (hint Gator), several 10 in a row forms filled out for Hammy, and others. Need to say that Hugh and Lynette McCombs, and Jins Hinton did a great job getting things together and keeping it running smoothly with so many new shooters. Great targets setters also....never let us break between sets long eneough to get to the head and back before the next realy was called!!!
Look forward to seeing you at Georgia states April 16th and 17th.
Mary

thanks guys, got out of cast 2 days ago, and into walking boot. Sling came off of arm, but they are going back in for some touch up, (not major). had 2 tears instead of one in rotator cuff. Hernia, doing great. was the least painful of the three. Can't wait to get back!!!! Even if I can't shoot I plan on showing up at a few matches.(Maybe help call matches, or spot for someone.) My good looking half just had an MRI I hope she didn't tear something up trying to help me. Is hammy=2hambone? Sorry, I missed you guys more than you'll ever know. Keep up the good shooting!!! ps I called and they said they still have a perfectly good plane we can jump out of.lol

Hawk...Hambone, Tbone, Hammy, Kevin, Byron's roomy and any other assorted names you wish to come up with will work for him, including "Mister I'm going to psych myself right out of the State Champion trophy" are all one and the same. Still waiting to jump, bring her down, we'll let you suffer on the ground.
Hammy you know you want it (the special trophy...and I can't win the special Turkey award), but the price needs another zero on the price you put on it.
BTW Hammy, great kid you have there in Baby Huey, and I've come to the conclusion that you just don't like long rides with anyone.

My dear Mary, it was just a pleasure to finally breathe the rarified air of where you live on the leader board. If you would have only told me you were going to fart out a 25 in the afternoon match I would have used my secret bullets. Plus, I think trying to peddle the trophy is a permanent stain on our sport. So, how much do you want for it? And worse yet, they threw me out of AA...(the class, not the meetings)

Oh Great Tbone...sorry you look just like Hambone...the price sticker that appeared on my coveted trophy was on the inside of a Wolf box....I do not shoot such wimpy ammo, one must have some special wind powers to blow down the edge shots, so therefore it must have been you that placed the price on my beautiful display, so that all could enjoy the eloquent award that Lynette so very carefully designed. I must admit, I have i my possession a special purple bag with several boxes of Wolf that was left on the bench near where you and Baby Huey were parked so, they probably belong to one of the two of you.
As for my releasing gas at the proper times, at least I blew over more animals than you, sir.

OK, I'll admit to the dastardly deed but your beloved Wolf shooting Huey put me up to it. Take a look at this guy, he threatened me with a sleeper hold and a long walk home. Here he is accepting his A class win from a 6 foot Mr. McCombs.

I only suggested that you a zero short on price that was placed on such a fine trophy. Yes he is quite large, but like any fine mastiff, just look at that drooling smile!!!! THe worst he could do is sit on you all the way home, cuz I don't think his father would have left you.
Congrats to Baby Huey on his win btw, and of course congrats to the real persons behind that the coach and source of money!!!

Hammy just remember all hail

the lady of silhouette. Not only did she beat ya but she killed ya on the second day. See how your talk of our horid car ride comes back to bit ya in the ass. Dont make be tell the club that you got beet my mary by over 10pts even with that guady looking rifle you have.

Hammy...shall I get out Coates Pink rifle or should I use the purple Phantom??? He knocks your rifle, he should be so lucky as to have such a color coordinated outfit as your rifle, vest and shoelaces.
Huey, thought it was probably your ammo. You'll get it sooner or later, that Wolf drops too much for my rifles at the longer distances. Now Kevin did a good job making me work for the trophy just messing with his mind. Hammy....never worry about the score of others til after you have shot, the wailing wall is for the end of the day.
