TV Show on Remington
I watched the hatchet job done on Remington the other night, WOW!
They admited the only way they could get a remington to fire without pulling the trigger was to work over the trigger with a screw driver.
They had some cop sniper showing his rifle doing that but it was never inspected by anyone.
The old designer would never admit the gun was faulty but he did say the company did turn down some modifications to the trigger assembly.
They had files on complaints to Remington but never summarized what the complaints were.
Let it be known I am not a Remington fan and I do think their quality has slipped in the past few years but that is another story. I do have a modle 700 'knock-off' action on my new gun.

Remington isn't going to take this lying down. http://m.remington700.tv/#
It is not surprising that this is cropping up in the height of political seasons.
CNBC should be ashamed of themselves for putting that shitty piece of journalism on the air.

The "old desigher" is 98 year old Mike Walker. Mike shoot high power silhouette at the 1000 yd club in back in the early 80's.
